World Autism Awareness Day at the United Nations

Community members are invited to celebrate Autism Awareness Month with Felicity House by joining us at the United Nations for a conference about “Empowering Women and Girls with Autism.” Our Executive Director, Beth Finkelstein, will be presenting as part of a panel about gender disparity in the diagnosis process.
Community members will meet at Felicity House at 8:00 am to take the bus to the UN and will return at 1:30pm though participants are allowed to leave on their own. There will be no additional programming following the event and participants will not re-enter the townhouse. Space is limited for the bus so we won’t have additional room for guests. Please note that this event will include long spans of quiet sitting. A Government-issued ID (Driver’s License, State ID, etc.) is required to enter the UN.
