For Book Lovers, we’ll read The Help by Kathryn Socket, a novel taking place in Mississippi during the civil rights movement. Skeeter Phelan, an aspiring author, teams up with maids, Aibileen and Minnie to write a tell-all book about the lives and hardships of black maids in the South.
