How to Write Standup Comedy

In this workshop you’ll learn and practice the formulas and techniques behind joke writing and participate in writing exercises that will help you construct jokes. The beginning of the class will include a brief live stand up performance from professional comedian, Ashley Gavin, and helpful videos breaking down your favorite comedians’ techniques. The class will close with quick pro-tips about where and how to start practicing your stand-up routine.
