Penny joined Felicity House as a Program Manager in 2022.  Previously, Penny worked as an English teacher for the Department of Education (DOE), where she obtained experience in teaching diverse populations, including emergent language learners and neurodivergent students, and learned inclusive practices such as Universal Design for Learning. Penny most recently worked as an Education Specialist and Program Coordinator at the YM&YWHA of Inwood and Washington Heights. In this role, Penny managed both virtual and in-person programs for multiple schools. In 2021, Penny received a Masters in Language and Literacy for Adult Learners at The City College of New York.
