Felicity House
Sam Díaz joined Felicity House in 2021 after working in program development for eight years in New York City public schools. In her previous work, Sam focused on bringing inclusion to school cultures through their daytime and after-school programs. Sam has experience working with students who are neurodiverse, including those diagnosed with autism. Sam received her BA in Theatre and Performance from Purchase College, and has a deep understanding of how movement and the arts can raise self-awareness, self-regulation, and social awareness. She also believes the performing arts can be a vehicle for socialization and the formation of new relationships.
Sam is her best self when she’s helping other people. She can be found drinking large iced coffees from Dunkin Donuts or eating Taco Bell as her favorite guiltless pleasure.
