Julia De Brito, LMSW joined Felicity House as a Program Associate in 2015. Prior to coming to Felicity House Julia has worked in the nonprofit sector for over eight years and has versatile experience working with different populations, primarily women. Julia worked as a Project Coordinator for the Center for Urban Community Services (CUCS) Rikers Island Single Stop (RISS). At RISS, the goal is to help clients transitioning to the community from incarceration
apply for public assistance and other services. At RISS, Julia had an opportunity to provide a unique experience to help a population that is often stigmatized and overlooked. She managed reporting for the entire program as well as oversight of program operations housed at the Women’s Jail. Julia holds a B.S. in Social Work from The College of New Rochelle and a Masters in Social Work from Fordham University.
Julia enjoys all forms of entertainment such as reading, going to movies, and concerts, but is happiest spending mellow weekends with her family.
