Felicity House
Patricia Weisenfeld is Managing Director at the MJS Foundation, a
private family foundation based in New York City. Previously, Patty
served as Vice President of Special Initiatives at the Simons
Foundation where she managed the founder’s institutional
grantmaking and the foundation’s outreach and education efforts.
Weisenfeld brings a broad range of experience in domestic and
international not-for-profit management with a focus on public health
and organizational development. Prior to joining the Simons
Foundation in March 2008, she spent ten years in Southeast Asia on
assignments for Pathfinder International, Planned Parenthood, the
Asian Development Bank, the World Health Organization and the
United Nations. Previously, she served as vice president of operations
at Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic.
Weisenfeld holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the
State University of New York at Stony Brook and a master’s degree in
public administration from New York University’s Wagner School of
Public Service.
